Vanguard's Alta Pro 253CP Carbon Fiber Tripod With PH-22 Pan Head has a load capacity of 6.6 lb, extends to a maximum height of 68" and folds down to only 28" which makes it easy to attach to a gear bag, or backpack. The center column has a tilting system which allows you to move it from 0 to 180 degrees like a boom for precise composition, helping to make macro photography or copy work easier. And while we're on the subject of macro photography, the legs have 25, 50 and 80 degree stops for extra low angle shooting.
The included PH-22 3-Way Pan Head comes equipped with a quick release and camera plate for fast set up. Besides 360 degree panning, the PH-22 has a -60 to +90 degree range of backward/forward tilt and -30 to +90 degrees of lateral tilt.
