Vanguard's Alta Pro 263 AT Aluminum Alloy Tripod is lightweight (4.41 lb) and an extremely versatile camera support. It features a unique Multi-Angle Central Column System (MACC) which allows you to position the center column at angles from 0 - 360° in variable vertical and horizontal positions. Central column positioning is aided by the Vanguard Instant Swivel Stop-n-Lock (ISSL) System which allows secure and quick positioning of the central column in one simple movement, while keeping the tripod balanced and stable.
The tripod has a maximum load capability of 15.4 lb, extends to a maximum height of 65", and folds down to only 24.75", making it easy to transport. The minimum working height, with the legs closed and spread out wide to an almost flat 80°, is 6.25" -- excellent for macro-photography and low wide shots. The minimum extended height, meaning with the legs fully extended and the top bar at its lowest height, is 52.1". Adding further to the Alta Pro 263 AT's versatility are 3 section legs that can be independently positioned and secured with Quick flip leg locks, retractable spiked rubber feet, a bubble level and a retractable utility hook.
